Venturia will take you on a journey of discovery through the archeological site of Chinchero, a town frozen in time; its buildings were constructed on top of originalIncan foundations, yet you can still see traces of the history of the Sacred Valley in the adobe and stone walls; Moray, where it is believed the Incas performed agricultural experiments on its circular terraces; Maras salt mines, which the Incas used to supply the Empire with salt. The pink salt harvested here is a gourmet delicacy sought after even today and Ollantaytambo, an example of pre-hispanic monumental architecture. The only Incan city still inhabited today, a living community that has so much to offer.
